Getting back on track after Christmas...
When it comes to Self Care, I love to keep things dirt simple.
Then of course at Christmas time, we all deserve to indulge a little because it only comes round once a year.
This Christmas, once you've had enough festive food, beer and wine, you may want to clear out the junk and get back on track in the shortest time possible so that you're feeling great going into the New Year!
Every so often it's good to check in with your health and ask yourself:
- How do you feel when you wake up in the morning?
- Are you refreshed, clear headed and bursting to start your day? Or do you hit the snooze button a number of times before dragging yourself out of bed?
- How do you feel in your clothes? Do you feel confident. comfortable and free or are you constantly pulling and adjusting your clothes to cover the "jiggly bits" you don't want seen.
- Are you regular? Do you visit the bathroom at the same time each day for #2's that pass easily? Or do you struggle with bloating, gas, constipation or 'the runs'?
- How do you feel in your body? Are you slim, strong, flexible and pain-free or do you feel trapped with ongoing, niggling aches and pains?
Now I'm not gonna tell you that there's a quick-fix miracle pill that will fix all of this because there's not!
Embracing the "7 Principles of Health" on a consistent basis is the only true answer over time and distance for being healthy, radiant and disease-free.
