Feeding your emotions
There are many circumstances in life that bring about mental and emotional pain.
It's true that time heals all wounds, but there are things you can do to help restore positive emotional health.
Emotions are contagious and our brains release electro chemical molecules that create these emotions. It's a topic I'm super passionate about, which is why I agreed to take part and delve deep into this in the doco called e-motion, that was released last year.
A critical thing that can accelerate the healing process, is being around people who exert charm and happiness. They are worth their weight in gold because they have the ability to nurture and heal us in times of emotional unease.
You can also feed your emotions through food. That’s why I wrote an entire chapter in the Farmacist Desk Reference called, "Feeding Your Emotions".
Food and drink is not only for nourishment, it's a measure of social exchange, and whole foods in particular literally impact the subatomic, atomic, electric and molecular level of our impulses that create either health OR disease.
Whole foods can lift us, calm us, recharge us, amplify us and expand our creative imaginative inventive potentials in many aspects of life.
One of the most misunderstood and underestimated aspects of foods from the plant kingdom is the variations in COLOURS of these foods and how they target and lift different body systems and parts of your anatomy.
All of these foods reflect the 7 colours of the rainbow, which is why "rainbow fasting" can be so damn powerful in amplifying positive energy and releasing negative patterns that make you feel angry or frustrated.

There is not a medicine in this world that can compare to the power of whole foods for healing the body, emotions and the mind.
Human experience shows the incredible health benefits of eating a diet rich in fruits, vegetables and whole grains and there are easy ways to get these nutrients daily.
Embrace a variety of colours of foods and do it often. Get outdoors and walk because it gets your senses involved. Overload on YELLOW plant foods (like Pineapple, Mango, Corn and Bananas) and expose your body to sunlight.
All of these things will not only help your health, they are significant keys to restoring your emotional balance and wellbeing.
