Why is corn the most notorious vegetable?
If a fruit, vegetable or nut is produced by mother nature (and not tampered with) it will ALWAYS be nutritious.
With this in mind, why does one vegetable get a bad wrap?
Before I go any further, remember, if corn has been genetically modified and sprayed with chemicals, DON'T CONSUME IT.
But if it's non-GMO, I can tell you whole heartedly that corn is one of the most nourishing foods on the planet.
In fact, in my house, there's one food in particular that's always a huge hit - CORN!
Did you know that corn dates way back to the Carib Indians and at certain times they would survive on only corn for extended periods? These folk were some of the healthiest people on the planet!
The reason is that corn is JAM PACKED with benefits.
Many years ago on my quest for PULSE, I came across several "off the grid" cultures and it was the North American Indians who showed me the brilliance of combining corn with nuts, seeds, herbs and spices. It was a sacred snack that they treasured dearly.
Today, I'm stoked to have this available to anyone who wants a super-nourishing, fulfilling, low calorie, low GI snack.
I've put together 3 specific combinations using the same recipes and wisdom that the Carib Indians applied...and I call it, CORNOCOPIA.
Now whether you munch on my Cornocopia, steam it or pop it yourself, corn is made up of complex carbohydrates, protein and GOOD fats to boost your energy levels for longer compared to processed and sugary snacks which make you "hit the wall" quickly.
So get snacking folks!
