Mac + Pat Soy Candle | 40hrs
Lovingly hand poured & packaged to perfection! These candles are made from 100% eco soy wax with 80+ hours burn time.
Almond Milk ~ this candle is soft and subtle with sweet almond and creamy caramel. Blended to perfection.
Please remember your candle has been hand poured, not mass produced. Although every effort is made to ensure consistency, every candle will be different. Mac + Pat have chosen to create a 100% natural product which means when using a natural soy wax WITHOUT ANY ADDITIVES you may notice small blemishes on the side of the glass where the wax has not adhered to the sides 100%.
This is not a fault, simply a small blemish, it does not affect your candle in any way and simply shows the hand poured nature of our candles. The top of your candles may also appear slightly uneven, this is also a sign we have hand poured your candle and it hasn't been made on a production line!
When lighting a soy candles for the first time, allow the wax to melt all the way to the sides of the container. The first burn should last as long as it takes to reach all the way to the edges of the container. This creates the ‘burn memory’ of the candle. It will give you maximum fragrance and an even burn pool. At this point blowout your candle and let it reset completely before burning again.
Trim your wick before you relight your candle each time to approx 6-8mm. This keeps the integrity of the wick in place. If you notice that your wick has moved off-centre, gently reposition your wick back into the centre whilst the wax is still molten. As we use 100% eco soy wax it does not burn as hot as paraffin wax. This means the soy wax requires a thicker wick which does not burn down 100% and needs to be trimmed regularly. Make sure not to over trim your wick as you may not be able to re-light your candle.
Smoke around the top of the jar is not uncommon; this is due to the flame and the fragrance oil burning. There will also be a little soot left on the glass when burning a candle for a long time. We suggest burning your candle for 4 hours at a time max. If you notice soot forming around the top of your jar you can use a damp cloth or baby wipe to clean the glass, returning it to clear again. Also note that leaving your candle in direct sunlight will cause a yellow colour to form on the top of your candle. This does not affect the candle in any way other than looks
